Welp. Guess who forgot about her blog again?

I figure I'd come on here and give one last blog for 2009. Maybe 2010 will be better in that department.

I am so glad to be done with 2009 though. This was just a shit year all around and I'm looking for a do-over. Let's hope 2010 has good things in store.

This last semester was strange. I took three Econ classes and two Math classes. I did really well in my Econ classes but horrible in my Math classes. I've always been okay at Math and I have no idea what the problem was. But I've encountered this before where I think I know what I'm doing and it turns out I have no friggin clue. In my one Math class, for example, I would get 90s on the assignments and then bomb the midterm (and the final apparently). I just don't get it.

Also: I have no idea what I'm going to do after graduation. I think this is a common problem for a lot of us. I need to get some experience in some sort of field though. I was thinking about going into Coop but I don't know. I just want to finish school as quickly as I can and get out. Not the greatest attitude to have but I am just done with it.

Christmas was good. We had no visiting relatives this year, so it was pretty chill. I didn't really get any expensive items (expect for Tristan who got me a FRIGGIN MASTER SWORD) but I did get stuff I liked/needed, like a new bookbag (which looks like a huge purse) and a complete sleepwear set. Very few DVDs, which surprised me because that's what took up the most room on my list. The only DVD I got was Star Trek, which is a damned good movie.

One funny thing that Tristan did though: we both had complained about Twilight over the year and how awful it was, etc.
So, the first gift I open from him was...the first Twilight movie on DVD.
Now, I was taught long ago by my mother that even if you don't like a present, you suck it up, thank them and pretend you like it. Which is what I did in this situation. This was hard because I was little mad since I thought he wasn't listening to me.
So I say, "Oh...wow...thanks...never seen that before..." and put it down, very confused.
Then he says: "....Megan, open the case."
It was a PS2 game I has been looking for (Tales of the Abyss). He just slapped the Twilight cover on it as a joke.
So embarrassing. But I couldn't stop laughing for like 5 minutes. And I've decided that I'm keeping the Twilight cover on it, even if I do have to look at the ugly guy's face everytime I want to play that game.

The Master Sword made up for it though. He got it to compliment the Hylian Shield that Mike got me for my birthday, which Mike go to compliment the Buster Sword I got from Tristan years ago. I like the idea of these guys outdoing each other by buying me matching videogame equipment. Not that I'm complaining though. Since the Buster Sword is on it's own now, I think it needs matching armor. Perhaps the shoulder ornament that Cloud wears?

Anyway, it's 4:30 am and I should try and get up tomorrow, so it's bed time. I'll blog more later I PROMISE.

And let me say one last time: go screw yourself, 2009. TAH!

Well said Megan! I too am ready to say GOODBYE 2009! By far, the most terrible year to date.

So, live long a prosper, and I will see you in 2010!

Oh man, I better go update mine.

Nice on the swords, though. My cousin has a buster sword. I would call him (and you) a doofus, but I now have weighted companion cubes hanging from my rear-view mirror, so I'm really not in any position to talk.
